The Totnes College of Counselling in South Devon,
is offering a one year Certificate in Counselling.
Starting: January 2009, on Tuesday Evenings.
Aims:
To provide a learning environment where:
a) Students can explore themselves as individuals and in relation to others.
b) Psychodynamic practice and theory can be explored
c) Learning can be utilised in relation to counselling practice.

Course Structure:
The duration of the course will be over three academic terms on Tuesday evenings
Each of the ten sessions per term will begin with a tutor-led session, which will be followed by a group process session.
The tutor-led sessions will involve experiential learning, academic input and counselling skills practice.
Additionally there will be two Saturday workshops per term
An important part of a psychodynamic counselling course concerns personal development. Whilst it is not an obligatory part of the course, we strongly encourage students to have their own personal therapy during the training.
The course takes place in Totnes, Devon.
