Noelle Adler first trained as a nurse in London at Charing Cross Hospital. Having staffed there she took the opportunity to embark on a theology degree at Exeter University.  This was a renaissance period for her and her first introduction to the world of counselling.

After a spate in London at the Phoenix theatre and touring in a two- woman show, Noelle left the theatre for the west country and started training in 1991 at SCC/T (WPF) Taunton.  This was a 3- year diploma course in psychodynamic counselling.  Having practiced at Taunton for a couple of years she went on to train in Integrative psychotherapy at BCPC (Bath).

Her experience varies from one to one and couple work both in the NHS and privately.

She supervises individuals and groups.

Since 2001 she has taught on the Certificate, Diploma and Postgraduate courses in psychodynamic counselling at Totnes.

Most recently she and Cathy Towers have embarked on a programme of CPD workshop trainings.

Following a career as Head of Science in secondary education and as a Lecturer in Educational Psychology in teacher education, Ted Ensor started training as a counsellor in 2000.

Following his Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling, he spent three years as a counsellor in a G.P.’s surgery and a year counselling in a local secondary school.

He is currently in a private counselling practice with three other colleagues, and is also a teacher of counselling courses at the Adult Centre for Learning in Totnes.

Angelika Golz completed her first training as an individual psychotherapist in 1979. Since then she has been working full time as a psychotherapist . She completed her second training as a Group Analyst in 2003.

She was a founder member of  Devon Pastoral Counsellors, and is also a founder member of The South Devon Psychotherapy and Counselling Services.

Currently, she has a private practice in Totnes, where she conducts one-to-one therapy offers supervision, and also runs psychotherapy groups. She also runs psychotherapy groups in the NHS,

Alyss Thomas MSc UKCP Reg Dip CPP Memb IGA

Alyss first qualified as a psychotherapist with the Karuna Institute in 1993,and is a qualified Group Analyst and registered psychotherapist. She has extensive clinical experience, and has worked on a wide range of counselling, psychotherapy and supervision training courses.
